Mischa Barton was born on the 24th of January, 1986 in Hammersmith, the United Kingdom. The TV show The O.C. she played Marissa Cooper a socialite. Benjamin McKenzie played her love-interest. She was paired with Benjamin McKenzie who was the role of her love lover. Barton appeared for the first time on television in the role of Corvina Lang, the younger Corvina. She played this character in flashbacks on All My Children in 1994. In 1996, she returned in the place of Michelle Trachtenberg as Lily Benton Montgomery. Katie Singer guest-starred as Jessie Sammler Evan Rachel Wood's girlfriend in the eight episodes from Once and Again. In 1996, Comaneci was elected into the International Gymnastics Hall of Fame and, in 1999, she was recognized by ABC News and Ladies Home Journal as one of the 100 most Important Women of the 20th Century. In April of 1996, Comaneci was married American Olympic Champion Bart Conner and they share a son named Dylan Paul. They run a range of businesses that deal with gymnastics, such as Bart Conner Gymnastics Academy. Comaneci serves as a board member for the Special Olympics International Muscular Dystrophy Association and the Laureus Sports For Good Foundation. She remains active in supporting numerous charitable organisations in Romania. This includes the Nadia Comaneci Children's Hospital of Bucharest.
