Annie Murphy, also known as Anne Frances Murphy, was born in the year 1986. The Canadian native has been working in the film industry for a variety of projects. Her most prominent role was one of Alexis Rose, a CBC TV sitcom called Schitt's Creek. It premiered in the year 2015 before ending in with the season ending in 2020. Her performance was well-received by critics and won the Primetime Emmy Award. She was born within Ottawa Ontario Canada. Both of her parents worked as teachers. Elmwood School was her first selection within Ottawa and where she took part in various stage shows. After graduating in Concordia University with a theatre degree, she enrolled in the Canadian Film Centre's Actor's Institute. She then took lessons at the Canadian Film Centre Actor's Conservatory and was able to learn about acting. Later she moved in Los Angeles at the age of 22 and began acting as a career. Annie Murphy began her career in 2007 with the television action thriller film Lethal Obsession. She continued to act in small roles and on the side as an actor. A few of them are cult like Story of Jen which was made in the year 2008, Lick made its debut in 2010 and a sequel A Windigo Tale which was released in the same year. She also appeared in Canadian TV shows such as Good God, which aired 2012 and Rookie Blue in the same. It seems she has the capacity of working on several acting projects. Annie had to struggle at first to establish herself as an actress. She also worked hard to show her talent and get noticed. Her outstanding performances helped make her a star in both the film and entertainment industries. Additionally, she's starred in a number of American TV series, such as The Beautiful Life TBL (2009), Blue Mountain State (2010), Beaut & The Beast (12), and many more.
