Simone Biles
Simone Biles (born on March 14, 1997, in Columbus Ohio U.S.A.) American Gymnast considered one the sport's best athletes. The 2016 Olympics took place at Rio de Janeiro and Biles became the U.S.'s only female gymnast ever to earn 4 gold medals. She also claimed the world championship for all-around 3 times in succession (2013-15). Biles as well as the younger of her sisters Adria, who were adopted by Ronald Biles and Nellie Biles their grandparents in Spring Texas (in the Houston area) and grew up in the Houston area. Simone was first able to show an interest in gymnastics as an infant on a field trip to school at Bannon Gymnastix. Aimee Borman was her coach for the next 11 years. Biles won a gold in floor exercises and also a bronze in vault during the women's Junior Olympic National Championships in 2010. She then stepped into the elite level of gymnastics in the year 2011. Two years after that, Biles dominated the sport. What set Biles apart was the consistency of her flamboyant attitude and the extreme level of challenge she integrated into her routines throughout every event - vault, uneven bars, balance beam, and floor workout.
